Shade Tree Planting

The City of Sonoma has adopted a measure pledging to plant 50 new shade trees by the year
2020. The increase will add to the extensive tree canopy throughout the city, as well
as augment carbon sequestration from the city's footprint. Public Works will be the primary
implementation force, but residents are welcome to contribute where appropriate.
