City Attorney

The City Attorney is a contract position appointed by the City Council and provides legal support to the Council, Commissions and City staff.  The City Attorney attends all meetings of the City Council, may attend meetings of the Planning Commission, if necessary; advises on the form and content of ordinances, resolutions, contracts and other official documents and represents the City in the event of litigation not covered by the City’s insurance program.

Jeffrey Walter, of Walter & Pistole, is the City Attorney.
