The City of Sonoma has many beautiful parks and amenities that are open to the public year-round. Special Events held at City facilities are subject to an application and permitting process. The Special Events Policy details the rules and processes regarding the use of City facilities. Information regarding the use of specific facilities is shown below. FAMILY GATHERINGS & BIRTHDAY PARTIES. Parks are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The City does not monitor or enforce the informal reservation of facilities by the general public. Persons interested in having a family gathering or birthday party in one of the City parks are advised to arrive at the park early on the day of the event and remain there to secure use of the desired facilities. Leaving a table cloth on a table does not reserve the table for use later in the day. You must remain at the facility to keep it reserved. |
