Successor Agency

The City of Sonoma began serving as the Successor Agency to the Sonoma Community Development Agency on February 1, 2012 under a new State law, Assembly Bill 1X 26, which was upheld by the Supreme Court on December 29, 2011. The Successor Agency is governed by a seven-member Oversight Board.  Meetings of the Oversight Board will be open to the public and noticed under the Brown Act.

 Oversight Board Meeting Schedule

The Oversight Board meets the second Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m.  Meetings are held in the Community Meeting Room, 177 First Street West, Sonoma.
