City Council Appointment Application Now Available

The Sonoma City Council is seeking applications to fill the unexpired council term of Rachel Hundley.  Individuals interested in serving must be at least 18 years of age and a registered voter in Sonoma; and also must be a resident residing within the city limits of Sonoma at the time of appointment.   Sonoma residency and registered voter status must be maintained throughout the term of office. A completed and signed application must be filed with the Sonoma City Clerk by February 11, 2021, at 12:00 Noon.

The Sonoma City Council will publicly review all submitted applications where the applicants meet the qualifications. The Council may hold a public interview process for each candidate.

This application is a public document, although personal information will be redacted.  Applications will be compiled and considered by the Sonoma City Council as a part of a noticed public meeting.

When completed, applications, including a current resume, can be emailed to the City Clerk at rbarr@sonomacity.org or hand-delivered to City Hall at No. 1 The Plaza, Sonoma, in an envelope clearly marked ATTENTION:  REBEKAH BARR, CITY CLERK no later than 12:00pm on February 11, 2021. Postmarks will not be accepted.
