Marty grew up in Sonoma, attending Prestwood, Altimira and Sonoma Valley High (‘84). From 1986 to 2000, Marty worked in the mortgage banking industry. In 1998 he and his wife Alicia, started a wine shipping company. In 2014, he left the wine industry and started consulting as a construction project manager. Marty majored in Accounting and Finance at Sonoma State University. For 16 years Marty gave back to the community coaching girls' sports. He served on the board of Sonoma Girls Softball Association for 11 years and currently serves on the board of Sonoma Valley Field of Dreams. Marty and Alicia have two daughters.
