Parks for All! Ensuring that our diverse community has access to Sonoma County’s incredible natural resources is the driving principle of Sandi’s lifework. Sandi brings her collaborative, intelligent, and good natured leadership to her work for Sonoma County Regional Parks as the Parks Program Manager. Her efforts at Pepperwood Preserve, the Sonoma Ecology Center, Prusch Farm Park, and the Youth Science Institute have linked tens of thousands of school children, youth, and community members with their local environment. Sandi carries a BS in environmental science, MS Ed in environmental education and is a certified interpretive trainer through the National Association for Interpretation. During the pandemic, Sandi has been seen hiking the Overlook, Montini, and Fryer Creek Trails at least twice a week and looks forward to once again hanging out in the Plaza with her friends at Farmer’s Market.
