This year’s poster contest theme is “The Year of the Farmer,” celebrating 200 years of farming heritage in Sonoma Valley.

In 2024, we invite artists to capture the Valley of the Moon’s vibrant history, rich heritage, and landscapes while embracing this year’s theme, “The Year of the Farmer.” Entrants must submit their digital masterpieces online by Friday, August 2nd at 5:00 p.m.

This year, entrants are also required to submit an 18″w x 24″h print of their artwork to Sonoma City Hall for inclusion in a City Council Chambers Art Exhibit.

The winning artist will receive a $250 honorarium and two Legends Dinner tickets on the Vintage Festival’s opening night, Friday, September 27, at Gundlach Bundschu Winery. The winning art will be the official event poster of the 127th Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival, original artwork will be featured as an auction item at the Legends Dinner and posters will be available for purchase at Saturday’s Daytime Festival.
