It’s Official…the 195th Sonoma Valley Winegrape Harvest has begun! Thank you to City staff, councilmembers & guests who braved the heat to “Ring in the Sonoma Valley Harvest” with a special ringing of the City Hall bell on Friday, August 16th and also to the Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Alliance (SVVGA) for letting us know the exciting news that the first winegrape pick of the 195th Sonoma Valley harvest occured at midnight.
The public will have an opportunity to join in the celebration at Tuesday’s Valley of the Moon Certified Farmers’ Market on August, 20th at 6PM. The SVVGA encourages you to “Bring your bells and join the Sonoma Valley wine community to ring in the 2019 Harvest!”
