On May 17th, 2023, the City Council awarded the contract for construction of the bridge to Granite Construction. The contract includes bridge replacement and relocation of water and sewer services, demolishing and replacement of existing concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk and/or residential driveway. The City received additional funding from the Federal Bridge and Highway Program to fund 88.53% of the replacement cost of this bridge up to $3,268,000.
