City Council to consider updates to some fees September 18th

The Sonoma City Council will consider amendments to specific fees within the Planning, Building, Public Works, and Special Events departments during their forthcoming session. These amendments encompass a variety of adjustments, including clarifications, updates, removals, and the proposal of new fees. These fees encompass assessments for plan examination and permit issuance, street encroachment permits, staff hourly rates for plan assessments, inspections, and administrative expenses, as well as fees related to appeals, staff hourly rates, entitlement project assessments, and staff hourly rates combined with costs pertaining to special events.

The City Council will convene to consider these amendments on Monday, September 18, 2023, commencing at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be conducted at the City Council Chambers, located at 177 First St. West. You can also observe the proceedings via Channel 27 or access the City’s CivicWeb portal. Notably, this meeting will be conducted as a “hybrid meeting,” permitting participation both in person and virtually through Zoom. Further instructions on virtual participation can be found here.
