Emergency Warming Center to Open Overnight March 1st, 2nd & 3rd

Freezing temperatures are expected this weekend and in response, the City of Sonoma is opening a temporary Emergency Warming Center in the Haven parking lot starting Friday, March 1, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., and will remain operational overnight through Monday, March 4th at 7:00 a.m.

⏰ Open overnight from Friday, March 1st, 7:00 p.m. – Monday, March 4th, 7:00 a.m.

What to Expect:

  • 🛌 Cots for sleeping provided
  • 🔌 Charging station for personal electronic devices
  • 🍏 Light snacks and beverages available
  • 🐕 Service animals allowed; Well-behaved pets may be allowed (Manager’s discretion)
  • 📢 Updates on extended hours due to extreme weather on the City’s website

Important Notes:

  • 🕖 Arrival between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
  • ❌ No reentry if leaving before 7:00 a.m.
  • 📋 Must be listed on the “by-name list” system
