Celebration of Mexican Heritage and Health Fair

VIDA is hosting a Celebration of Mexican Heritage & Health Fair on September 19th, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Historic Sonoma Plaza. VIDA is collaborating with partners such as the City of Sonoma, Sonoma Valley Community Health Center, La Luz Center, Hanna Institute, Sonoma Hispanic Media, COVID-19 Response Aid (CURA) among other partners.

Our collective goal is to create a free event that brings our Sonoma Valley community together to celebrate culture while highlighting the importance of community health. While following all City of Sonoma COVID-19 event procedures and protocols, the Sonoma Plaza will transform into a festive setting filled with colorful and glamorous ballet folklorico dancing, live mariachi music, food booths, arts & crafts and most importantly Area de Salud (health zone) where we will have a vaccination pop-up, bilingual emergency preparedness and health education, free masks and incentives for those with proof of vaccination.
