City Council Meeting

At its July 16 meeting, the Sonoma City Council will consider a range of items including funding allocations for affordable housing preservation and community services, approval of various FY 2025–26 agreements, and amendments to City ordinances related to design review, drone use, and film permits. The Council will also review a proposed 9/11 memorial public art installation, provide direction on a regional water supply agreement, adopt a budget amendment for senior housing, and authorize the first amendment to the law enforcement services agreement with the County. The City Council meets regularly at the City Council Chambers, 177 First St. West, and meetings are broadcast on Channel 27 and available for live streaming on the City’s CivicWeb portal.
Public Comment
Members of the public are encouraged to participate in City Council meetings by attending in person or submitting comments online through the public comment form on the City’s CivicWeb portal. Comments submitted in advance will be uploaded to the public correspondence folder on the CivicWeb portal for review prior to the meeting but will not be read aloud during the meeting.
