Cultural and Fine Arts Commission Meeting

The Cultural and Fine Arts Commission will meet on November 18. The agenda includes the selection of the 2026 Treasure Artist and formation of an ad hoc committee for the reception, review of a temporary public art proposal from the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, and updates on the Student Creative Artist Award Program, Olsen Park mural discussion, and Utility Box Art Wrap selections. The Commission will also approve its 2026 meeting calendar and elect officers for the upcoming year.

The Cultural and Fine Arts Commission meets regularly at the City Council Chambers, 177 First St. West, and meetings are broadcast on Channel 27 and available for live streaming on the City’s CivicWeb portal. An agenda detailing the items to be discussed will be posted to the CivicWeb portal at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting.

Public Comment

Members of the public are encouraged to participate in Commission meetings by attending in person or submitting comments online through the public comment form on the City’s CivicWeb portal. Comments submitted in advance will be uploaded to the public correspondence folder on the CivicWeb portal for review prior to the meeting but will not be read aloud during the meeting.
