Earth Days in Sonoma Valley

Sonoma Ecology Center was founded in 1990 after the first global Earth Day celebration, held locally on the Sonoma Plaza. This year marks our 32nd anniversary. We are excited to share with you many ways to celebrate Sonoma Valley, this special place on Earth. Visit the SEC website for more information.

Friday, 4/22

  • 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Wildflower Walk at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Register. 
  • 3:00 -6:00 pm, Compost Pickup at Sonoma Garden Park. Register

Saturday, 4/23

  • 9:30 am – 12:30 pm, Edible Plant Walk at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Register. 
  • 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, Volunteer at Sonoma Garden Park
  • 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Senderos en la Reserva de flores silvestres Van Hoosear. (Registración)
  • 9:30 am – 12:30 pm or 2:00 – 5:00 pm, Forest Therapy Walk at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Register. 
  • 8:00 – 11:00 pm, Star Party at Robert Ferguson Observatory. Register.

Sunday, 4/24

  • 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Wildflower Walk at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Register.
  • 11:00 am – 12:30 pm, Accessible Wildflower Outing Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Register.
