General Plan Task Force Meeting

The City’s General Plan Update Task Force will convene on August 18th at 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. in the City’s Emergency Operations Center at 177 First Street West.
The primary focus of this meeting will be a review of the Draft Conservation and Open Space Element, now available on the General Plan Update website. This element addresses the protection of Sonoma’s natural resources, open spaces, and scenic character—core values of the community.
An agenda will be posted on our CivicWeb portal in advance of the meeting. To make a public comment, individuals are encouraged to either attend the meeting in person and speak during the designated public comment period related to the agenda item they wish to address or submit comments in advance online* through our public comment form on our CivicWeb Portal. Please be aware that all comments not submitted in advance must be presented in person.
