The Planning Commission will review a request to add a guest room to a Broadway bed and breakfast, consider a use permit for agricultural production and a produce stand on Church Street, and discuss potential updates to design review exemptions along with draft General Plan element comments. The public hearing for the proposed 50-unit Montaldo Apartments project is requested to be rescheduled to the September 18 meeting, with no decision or detailed discussion expected until then. The Planning Commission meets regularly at the City Council Chambers, 177 First St. West, and meetings are broadcast on Channel 27 and available for live streaming on the City’s CivicWeb portal.
Public Comment
Members of the public are encouraged to participate in Commission meetings by attending in person or submitting comments online through the public comment form on the City’s CivicWeb portal. Comments submitted in advance will be uploaded to the public correspondence folder on the CivicWeb portal for review prior to the meeting but will not be read aloud during the meeting.
