Delta Wires

Ernie Pinata, band leader and founder of Delta Wires, has always been a huge Count Basie fan.  Over the years, the band has been known for their exceptional horn section.  The band’s roots are the blues with the big band style intertwined.  Along with many blues legends, they have also appeared with Cal Tjader, Pete Escovedo, and Mongo Santamaria, among others.  Members of the horn section have played with Louis Bellison, Joe Henderson, and Dizzy Gillespie.  In July, they are appearing for the second time at the prestigious Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Italy.

All concerts are Free and start at 6 pm in Sonoma Plaza. Come on out, bring a picnic or get some dinner at one of the vendors and enjoy some great live jazz.

Concerts are always on the 2nd Tuesday of each month – June, July, August & September
