Join us for the Sonoma Valley Emergency Preparedness Fair on Saturday, June 1st, at Larson Park from 12 pm to 3 pm. Hosted by the Sonoma County Department of Emergency Management and the Sonoma Valley Community Health Center, this event aims to equip individuals and families with the knowledge and resources needed to prepare for, respond to, and recover from various disasters, including wildfires.

As we approach the peak fire season in Northern California, it’s crucial to be prepared. The fair will feature informational booths, interactive workshops, and demonstrations, including CPR training by SVFD. Attendees can also receive emergency preparedness giveaways, participate in raffles, and even receive a Go Bag from DEM (one per family, while supplies last).

This family-friendly event will offer something for everyone, including information on pet and animal preparedness. Whether you’re seeking valuable resources or simply looking to enhance your preparedness knowledge, this event is for you.

For more information, please contact Nancy A. Brown at the County of Sonoma DEM (nancy.a.brown@sonoma-county.org) or the Sonoma Valley Community Health Center at 707-939-6070 or community@svchc.org. Those interested in volunteering can reach out via phone at extension #198, email at volunteer@svchc.org, or sign up via Sign-Up Genius. Don’t miss this opportunity to ensure your safety and readiness in the face of emergencies.
