The City of Sonoma invites community members to lend a hand at Mountain Cemetery on Saturday, October 25, 2025, for our next volunteer workday. These events are a great way to help preserve and beautify our historic cemeteries while connecting with neighbors and enjoying a day outdoors.
Volunteers will take part in a variety of cemetery beautification projects, including weed abatement, landscaping, painting, repairing borders, restoring plots, and other maintenance tasks.
While shift options are available for scheduling purposes—
- 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
—participants are welcome to attend for any portion of the day that fits their schedule. Every bit of help makes a difference!
