Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), also commonly known as in-law units, granny flats, or secondary units, can play an important role in adding cost-effective affordable rental housing, as well as providing a source of income for homeowners. If you are interested in adding an ADU to your property, consider contacting the Napa Sonoma ADU Center for an individualized ADU Feasibility Consultation. These consultations help homeowners in Napa and Sonoma Counties kickstart their ADU projects. The ADU Feasibility Consults include (1) an in-person or virtual site visit from an ADU expert and (2) a customized ADU Feasibility Report.
How it works:
- Fill out the short 10-minute questionnaire
- They’ll do background research on your property and local ADU rules
- They’ll conduct a site visit with you 1:1 at your property or virtually
- You’ll receive a written ADU Feasibility Report!
