With adoption of the Fiscal Year 2021-22 budget, the City Council funded a Broadway (SR12) Pedestrian Safety project to install highly visible pedestrian crossings on Broadway at Patten Street, France/Andrieux Street, Malet Street and at Traintown. This project would be proposed for implementation under a Caltrans encroachment permit. The project could be implemented with the existing or a revised Broadway striping plan.
