The City of Sonoma has announced a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking qualified Contractors to provide on-call tree maintenance and Certified Arborist consulting services. Interested Contractors are invited to submit proposals per the specifications outlined in the RFP document. Services required include tree maintenance and Certified Arborist consulting services as detailed within the scope of the project.

Key Details:

  • Point of Contact: Mike Berger, Public Works Director, will serve as the sole contact for inquiries related to the RFP. Questions should be directed to mberger@sonomacity.org.
  • Pre-Proposal Questions Deadline: All questions must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on May 1, 2024. A single document addressing all received inquiries will be issued thereafter.
  • Proposal Closing Date: The deadline for submitting proposals is 5:00 p.m. on May 17, 2024. Proposals must be received by the City at the following address:

  • Submission Requirements: Contractors must submit three (3) bound hardcopies and one (1) unbound hardcopy of their proposals. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Confidentiality: All proposals will become part of the official records of the City of Sonoma and will not be returned. Contractors are reminded that contacting other City staff or Council Members regarding the RFP before the announcement of the selected contractor is prohibited.
