Moving Forward 2050

The Sonoma County Transportation Authority  (STCA) is updating Sonoma County’s Comprehensive Transportation Plan to ensure that the plan is relevant, useful, and represents the community’s needs for transportation. The new plan, called Moving Forward 2050, will look at transportation and projects over the next 30 years.

The SCTA encourages residents to join them at “Let’s Talk: The Future of Transportation in Sonoma” on Wednesday, December 11th at the Sonoma Valley Library (755 West Napa Street) at 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Learn more, including other ways to get involved, at https://scta.ca.gov/2050

Caltrans will also be part of the event as they develop their Pedestrian Plan to look at how to make walking along and across the State Highway System easier. Caltrans is studying existing gaps and barriers, and developing a list of proposed pedestrian needs to address these issues. Learn more at: https://www.catplan.org/district-4
