Slurry Seal Corrections Scheduled for Thursday, October 16

Slurry Seal

The contractor who performed the City’s 2024 slurry seal work will be returning this Thursday, October 16, to complete follow-up corrections in several locations. This one-day project will include Hudson Court, Davila Court, Sereno Court, Eda Court, Osenda Court, and the bulb-outs along Knight Street.

This work addresses areas where the original slurry seal has not performed as expected. It will be completed in a single day and is expected to cause minimal inconvenience to residents. Traffic control will not be needed, and other nearby roads will remain open for use.

What Residents Should Know

  • Work will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
  • No parking signs have been posted in affected areas to ensure crews can access the streets.
  • Slurry seal material takes about 4–6 hours to dry before it can be safely walked or driven on.
  • If you need to leave during the day, please move your vehicle before 8:00 a.m. Thursday to avoid being blocked in.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we complete this corrective work to maintain and protect our neighborhood streets.
