The Sonoma Active Transportation Plan is underway! Last fall, the Sonoma County Transit Authority (SCTA) collected over 100 ideas for sidewalk improvements, higher visibility crosswalks, and new bicycle paths. The City of Sonoma (City) is committed to fostering safer and more enticing environments for walking, biking, and utilizing mobility devices, both for everyday commuting and leisurely pursuits. Our vision is to ensure that active modes of transportation are viable and enjoyable for individuals of all ages and abilities.  The City and SCTA have partnered on this effort and will be back out in the community this Spring to get feedback on some of the initial ideas. Help shape the plan – join us at one of the following events:

Monday, May 6th @ Sonoma Community Center (276 E Napa Street)
