Sonoma Valley COVID-19 Community Testing Halted Due to Shipping Delay

Posted on July 15, 2020

UPDATE, 7/29 The Sonoma Valley Community Health Center (SVCHC) has informed the City that they WILL NOT resume Community Testing, see alternate testing sites.
Original Post:
The Sonoma Valley Community Health Center (SVCHC) has informed the City that QUEST Diagnostics has suspended shipments of tests to SVCHC until July 21st. As a result, the community drive-through testing at Sonoma Valley Hospital and Altamira Middle School is canceled until further notice. SVCHC intends to continue community testing when shipments resume and tests have arrived.
While we understand that state site appointments for COVID-19 tests are 1-2 weeks out, we encourage people to call OptumServe or Verily, in addition to reaching out to their primary care providers (ie Kaiser and other health centers, etc.) to inquire about testing.  See more information about alternate testing sites, courtesy of SVCHC.
