Three newly elected City Council Members to be sworn in Dec. 7th

The City of Sonoma is scheduled to welcome three newly elected City Council Members to the dias this week after the City was notified on Friday, December 2nd that the results of Sonoma County’s November 8th municipal election had been certified. The County officially declared that Patricia Farrar-Rivas, John Gurney, and Ron Wellander have been elected to the City Council for four-year terms of office.

The newly elected members will take the oath of office at Wednesday’s Regular City Council Meeting. The public is welcome to attend. The meeting will be held at City Council Chambers at 177 First St. West and can also be viewed on channel 27 or on the City’s CivicWeb portal.
