Celebration of Mexican Independence Day

Cultural and Traditional Events engage and heal the community. The Celebration of Mexican Independence Day is celebrating this coming Sunday 16th of September from 2:00 to 7:00 PM. It leads us to remember the leaders who gave their lives for a country free from the bondage of the Spaniards. The 5 hour festival sees over 4000 attendees, in a family friendly atmosphere that educates as well as entertains. The focal point is the stage with city hall as its backdrop, where continuous music and dancing take place, as well as the official civic ceremony with representation of the Mexican Consulate.
