City Council Meeting

At the January 15, 2025, regular meeting, the Sonoma City Council will hold public hearings on transitioning to by-district elections, amendments to municipal code sections on hearing notices, curb markings, and business licenses, and consider approving the Active Transportation Plan. The Council will also discuss the selection of the 2025 Alcalde and receive a presentation from the Sonoma County Water Agency on water transmission system projects. The City Council meets regularly at the City Council Chambers, 177 First St. West, and meetings are broadcast on Channel 27 and available for live streaming on the City’s CivicWeb portal.

Public Comment

Members of the public are encouraged to participate in City Council meetings by attending in person or submitting comments online through the public comment form on the City’s CivicWeb portal. Comments submitted in advance will be uploaded to the public correspondence folder on the CivicWeb portal for review prior to the meeting but will not be read aloud during the meeting.
