Holiday Music Series

Enjoy live musical performances in the Sonoma Plaza as part of the Holiday Music Series presented by Music In Place and Sponsored by the Sonoma Tourism Improvement District. This series features live music throughout the month of December.

Performance schedule: 

• 12/1 –  4:30 -6:30 p.m. Featuring Kris Strom and John Hoy.
  • South Bay veteran saxophonist, Kris Strom, will be joined by extraordinary jazz guitarist John Hoy to present holiday favorites with a jazz twist during the “Hot Chocolate with Santa” event in downtown Sonoma.
• 12/9, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. – ECHO Saxophone Quartet
  • Comprised of the finest young talent in classical saxophone, the award-winning ECHO Saxophone Quartet will delight you with its unique takes on light classical music and holiday classics.
• 12/16, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. –  To Be Determined
• 12/17, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. –  Jackson Baker Trombone Quartet
  • FOUR trombones? That’s correct! Come and experience a sound you didn’t know you were missing! Holiday and classics played by Jackson Baker’s wonderful ensemble.
• 12/23, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. –  Dan Gianola-Norris Brass Quartet
  • Alia Kuhnert will join SSU professor and trumpeter Dan Gianola-Norris on trumpet as well as Rachel Aragaki and Alicia Mastromonaco on French horn. Listen to this majestic and splendid brass quartet play the music you love to hear this time of year.
