Join the City of Sonoma for a special press conference on June 6, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Sonoma City Hall to commemorate the donation of an ambulance filled with essential medical supplies to Ukraine. This significant contribution supports Sonoma’s Sister City, Kaniv, and the broader Ukrainian community during the ongoing conflict with Russia.

The event will feature notable speakers, including His Excellency Dmytro Kushneruk, Consul General of Ukraine, regional elected officials, and key figures involved in the donation. The Sonoma Sister Cities Association, in collaboration with the Sonoma Valley Fire District and volunteer organization “US Ambulances for Ukraine,” has worked tirelessly to facilitate this humanitarian effort.

The press conference will also highlight the community’s fundraising efforts led by Sonoma Sister Cities Association‘s Kaniv Sister City Committee, aiming to cover transportation costs and provide additional medical supplies.

This event is an opportunity to celebrate the collaborative spirit of Sonoma and demonstrate our solidarity with Ukraine. The public and press are encouraged to attend.
