Public Viewing of Artwork by 2022 Sonoma Treasure Artist Pat-Meier Johnson in Council Chambers Feb. 15th, 4 – 6 PM

Sonoma Mayor Sandra Lowe and the City Council are pleased to announce that art featuring local artists will be displayed in Council Chambers in 2023. The first special art installation is now in place and features works by 2022 Sonoma Treasure Artist, Pat Meier-Johnson. The public is invited to view the special exhibit during City meetings in addition to a special viewing opportunity on Wednesday, February 15th from 4 – 6 PM. City Council Chambers is located at 177 First Street West, Sonoma.

The current exhibit will be on display through February. An installation of student art is proposed to be featured in March. The City’s Cultural and Fine Arts Commission will consider the Council Chambers Rotating Art Installations at a future meeting.
