How do I start water service?

To start water service, complete the City of Sonoma’s online Water Service Request Form. New residential customers (including renters, agents, and lessees) are required to provide a $150 deposit, which will be held for two years of service without delinquencies. After that period, the deposit will be credited to your account, or applied to the final bill if service is terminated earlier.

New service can normally be initiated within 24 hours of receipt of completed form and deposit.
