A flock of sheep from Perennial Grazing arrived this week to begin fuel reduction grazing on the Montini Open Space Preserve. They will plan to be on-site for approximately 10 days. It is expected to reduce fuel loads by more than 80% in grazed areas.
The Preserve is owned by the City of Sonoma and managed by Sonoma Ecology Center (SEC).
