How do I report flooding?

To report localized flooding in Sonoma city limits during regular business hours Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m, call the City of Sonoma Public Works Department  707-938-3332. To report flooding after regular business hours, call the Sonoma Police Department Non-Emergency Dispatch at 707-996-3601. IN AN EMERGENCY CALL 9-1-1.

What is SCOPE?

How can I get a copy of my accident report?

Call the Police Department at 707-996-3602.  Provide the Report Number, date and contact information. You must be named as a party involved in the accident or an insurer of the named party to obtain a copy of the report. Please bring photo ID when picking up the report.

Are sandbags available during floods?

If flood alerts are issued for Sonoma Creek and its tributaries, the City will have a limited number of sandbags available free of charge during normal business hours.  Visit our sandbag instructions page for details.

What are the City’s rules for leaf blowers?

The City’s referendum-approved leaf blower ordinance prohibits use of gas-powered leaf blowers.  Electric leaf blowers may be used Monday through Saturday (excepting holidays) between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Additional information can be found in this summary of the City’s leafblower ordinance.
