The 10 proposals to operate a commercial cannabis business permit the City received by the February 21st, 2020, deadline date have been reviewed by the City’s cannabis consultants (HdL). All proposals have successfully passed the initial paper review and are moving forward to the interview process. Each applicant will be interviewed by the City’s Proposal Review Committee (PRC). Please Note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City anticipates that the interviews will be conducted “virtually” by the end of April 2020.
Following the interviews, the PRC will select the top 5 applicants to be considered by City Council. City Council will then review the top applicants at a public meeting and select the finalists. Those finalists will then progress to Phase 2 of the permitting process.
