Shady Fire and Boysen Fire in Sonoma County – Evacuations and Shelter Information

Please note, this is being shared as information only – there is no immediate threat to the City of Sonoma at this time.

Fire Authorities are responding to several fires in Sonoma/Napa Counties. Multiple evacuation orders/warnings have been issued due to the Shady and Boysen Fires in Sonoma County. For the most updated evacuation, please refer to www.socoemergency.org  and the Sonoma County Sheriff Nixle.

If you are in the evacuation warning area, be prepared to evacuate. If you feel unsafe, evacuate.  If you need help evacuating animals, call (707) 861-0699 (Sonoma CART). If you need help evacuating livestock, call (707) 234-7193 (NorCal Livestock Evac).

Temporary Evacuation Centers are now open, including one at Sonoma Raceway (Temporary Evacuation Point, car sheltering and camping).  See the current list of shelters.

Making sure you have signed up for emergency alerts.
Review the City of Sonoma’s evacuation zones.
