The City of Sonoma extends its heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who came together for the inaugural Cemetery Volunteer Workday on Saturday, September 16th at Valley Cemetery. This event was a resounding success, thanks to the incredible efforts of our community members and staff.
Tasks for the day included raking pine needles and oak leaves beneath the site’s majestic trees, tending to weeds and overgrowth, and clearing away debris that had accumulated over time.
What’s Next: We invite the community to register for the next two volunteer days! Your continued support and dedication are essential in preserving the beauty and historical significance of our cemeteries.
