The City of Sonoma invites community members to take part in upcoming Cemetery Volunteer Workdays at Valley Cemetery, Mountain Cemetery, and Veterans’ Cemetery. These special days of service are an opportunity to roll up your sleeves, work alongside neighbors, and help preserve some of Sonoma’s most meaningful historic sites.
Each cemetery has unique needs, from landscape revitalization and weed control to border restoration and general maintenance. Volunteers may sign up for one or multiple workdays, with shifts available from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., or the full day from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
