Established in 2025, the Parks & Recreation Department oversees the City of Sonoma’s parks, open spaces, recreation programs, public art program, special events, community services, and cemeteries. The department works to enhance quality of life, expand opportunities for all ages, and preserve the City’s historic and natural resources.
